This transmitter was built for Elmer Miller just about from the ground-up. The Chidgey stick was built from a prototype Chidgey stick kit that Jerry Prado had fabricated professionally. There were some slight design issues and I fixed those and added ball bearings and Bourns 3851 plastic conductor pots. The Proline case for the project was donated by Kees Talen and was stripped and refinished with Rustoleum hammered finish paint. It is powered by a GAACE V4.0 encoder and a Corona 2.4GHz module. The display is a new compact type that I obtained from a gentleman who said they were originally built for a custom application. I was lucky enough to get 40+ of them for my projects. Elmer said he always wanted a “supertransmitter”… now he has one.”
